Stone Marine Services respect our customer rights to data privacy and protection, and as such, we have revised our internal policies, procedures, working practices in order to meet the requirements of the GDPR.

We place a high priority on protecting and managing data in accordance with accepted standards.

Stone Marine Services are committed to compliance with the GDPR as both a processor and controller of personal data and have established a working group to lead our GDPR implementation project and ensure compliance on an ongoing basis.

Subscription & Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process for our fact sheet downloads and online enquiry forms, we collect personal information. We use that information to keep track of who has downloaded our material and shown an interest in our services and to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to send you relevant product or service updates and communications we believe to be relevant and of interest to you or your company. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

Third-party Providers

We use the mail delivery system MailChimp to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry-standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter and communication delivery. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Other

If you send us your CV we may want to keep your details on file in case an opportunity comes up in the future. If you’d rather we didn’t do this, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing gwynneth.hall@stonemarineservices.com and we’ll delete your record immediately.
