Stone Marine Strengthen Service with Triple Appointment.
Stone Marine Services make a triple appointment securing the services of Alan McKendry, Richard Thompson and Colin Allan from Kongsberg Maritime.
Ryan McIntyre, Managing Director, added. “Richard joins Stone Marine, having spent the past 10 years at Kongsberg as Senior Controls Engineer. His experience in reference systems, undertaking hardware installations, including service on K-POS, ICON Dynamic Positioning and the older SDP system, adds value to what is already a broad package of service.
Colin, also with 10 years of Kongsberg experience as Senior Controls Specialist, brings a depth of know-how and expertise in Thruster Controls, Dynamic Positioning and Automation Systems. Colin is also the system lead on software development, including troubleshooting and service attendance for a global client base.
To complement the team, Alan McKendry has joined as Service Manager. Alan spent 17 years with Rolls Royce before joining Aegir Marine in 2017. Alan’s knowledge and network are fantastic, and we are delighted to welcome all three to the business.”
